Adventure Travel Company. Writing, editing, and copy editing of itineraries, newsletters, and ad copy for print, email, and direct mail. Writing for web pages. Produced, edited, and wrote copy for company catalog 2007, 2008, and 2009. Other responsibilities: banking tasks including writing company checks and sending international wires, office IT support, database support. Used iContact to manage and check performance of newsletters and other bulk emailings. Used Flickr for a photo contest. Used Dreamweaver, in Design, Adobe Photoshop, and Word to produce output for print and web. Analyzed web site performance using Google Analytics. Adept user of Excel.

Consulting Clients 2003-2006

Cazadero Performing Arts Family Camp, 2006-2008, Berkeley, CA
Marketing for 2007 camp season. Successfully increased enrollment in sagging “Session B” by 50%, effectively filling the camp in 2007 for the first time in 3 years. Success continued through 2008 season.

OTHER EXPERIENCE

Event Manager: Chairperson, École Bilingue’s Place du Marché: 2003, 2004. This one day event is a spring fundraiser and community spirit raiser that employs over 150 volunteers, entertains from 700-1000 visitors, earns revenue of over $40,000, and requires several months to prepare for. Also served two years as Volunteer Coordinator for the event.

Raffle Chairperson, 2005: for École Bilingue de Berkeley’s annual raffle, raising over $24,000.
